The circular tower, made of stone with walls one meter thick, had two levels: one for storing ammunition and the other equipped with ramparts for defense. Also known as the &#8220;Tower of Ammunition,&#8221; the bastion was defended by the butchers&#8217; guild, the largest and most influential guild in the city. It was inaugurated in 2013 in the Historical Center of Baia Mare, to honor the life and work of the great sculptor (1913-1980), one of the most valuable artists of post-war Romania.
