Textile art, painting and small-scale installations on subjects such as consumer culture, marriage and nuclear tests are brought together in the exhibition “Parcurs” by artist Cuzina, which features Ana B\u0103nic\u0103, Miva (Mihaela Lungu), Mihaela Moldovan (Vezentan) and Lumi Mihai.<\/p>\n

Cuzina (Cristina Toma) presents at Alert Studio<\/a> in Bucharest a project that explores artistic evolution, versatility and freedom of expression through various visual and conceptual media. In fact, the works on display reflect the fluid, constantly transforming artistic paths of all the artists. <\/p>\n

Cuzina graduated in 2004 at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, Tapestry Department, where she studied under the guidance of Professor Olga Birman. Later she completed her master’s degree in Visual Arts at the same university, with Marin Gherasim as her teacher.
\nSince 2003, she is a member of the performance art group Aproximativ 28, and since 2004 she is a member of the Union of Fine Artists of Bucharest.
\nHer artistic practice develops through a constant exploration of several media: painting, drawing, photography, installation, tapestry, object and performance. Through these diverse techniques, the artist translates ideas, stories and observations about reality in a personal and often ironic way. <\/p>\n

Ana B\u0103nic\u0103 and Lumi Mihai propose paintings and drawings, Miva creates installations and Mihaela Moldovan experimental textiles.<\/p>\n

The works on display include Cuzina’s Deceiving Borders (2025), a map of Romania created from coffee on canvas, and Miva’s Bikini (2026), a project about the site where the United States conducted nuclear tests in the mid-1940s and which is now radioactively contaminated. Geographical coordinates are inscribed on the bikini sets in the work, which are for sale in all measures.
\n“This association reveals a mechanism specific to consumer culture whereby a traumatic event is absorbed, resemnified and transformed into a commercial sign”, explains the artist.<\/p>\n

The exhibition can be visited on April 4 and 7, then after the Easter holidays, with the program to be announced on social media.<\/p>\n
