Goya, Capobianco and Giacometti, in Oradea
Works signed by Francisco de Goya, Marc Chagall, Alberto Giacometti and Domenick Capobianco and other masters of international and Romanian graphic art are on display from August 1 at the Darvas-La Roche House in Oradea.
The exhibition-event is organized by Oradea Heritage in partnership with Galateca Gallery in Bucharest.
“A Century of Graphic Art, from Goya to Boeriu” brings together artists central to our understanding of modernism and contemporary art, in a selection of serigraphs, lithographs and engravings from the collection.
From figurative expressionism and pop art to visual poetry and social criticism, the exhibition offers a journey through 130 years of visual history.
The exhibition is open to the public until the end of October.
