RAD Art Fair 2026 – More than 30 galleries, in April, at CARO Bucharest
The art fair organized by RAD – Romanian Art Dealers, which represents some of the most relevant contemporary art galleries in the country, takes place this year from 23 to 26 April, at CARO Bucharest, where the first three editions took place.
31 galleries from home and abroad will take part, and in addition to their stands, the RAD Sculpture Park and the RAD Design section will once again be organized.
For four days, artists, galleries, curators, collectors and the public will engage in a four-day dialog that combines exhibitions, performances, debates and interactive experiences.
“RAD is an open invitation to anyone who wants to understand the pulse of the present, becoming an experience that democratizes access to the art of the moment, bringing together historic names and established masters alongside the freshest and most relevant voices of the young generation of artists”, say the organizers.
In 2026, three galleries made the transition from the Platform section (the area dedicated to debut and mentoring) to the Galleries section of the fair, which unites the most important galleries in Romania, alongside a relevant selection of international galleries, the new structure reflecting the maturation of the local art scene. In their place, three new spaces in Bucharest and Eforie enter the circuit.
The 2026 edition expands the map both locally and internationally by including seven galleries for the first time at RAD, such as market leaders Einspach & Czapolai (Budapest) and trendsetters Tabula Rasa (Beijing & London), as well as S.L.S.R.L., a Bucharest space that opened this month.

Sculpture Park and RAD Design
RAD Sculpture Park has already become a major point of interest beyond the gallery space, continuing to redefine the interaction with art, especially in the public space. The 5,000 square meter gardens on the shores of Lake Tei will be activated again this year with large-scale installations that challenge the boundaries of architecture, landscape and the body.

RAD Design, now in its third edition, is signed by Ioana Chifu and Onar Stănescu, from Muromuro Studio, the team behind the Romanian Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025. Anda Zota and Elena Viziteu (AÉ02 Studio) return with the vision of RAD Pavilion, the central space dedicated to performances, impromptu meetings and RAD Talks.
Romanian Art Dealers (RAD) is led by Catinca Tabacaru and Daniela Pălimariu as artistic directors. RAD Art Fair co-organizers are among the most relevant contemporary art galleries in the country. The project represents a new generation of professionals dedicated to promoting the national scene on the global map. RAD co-founders are Robert Băjenaru, Matei Călția, Andrei Jecza, Alexandru Niculescu, Daniela Pălimariu, Mihai Pop, Alex Radu, Andreea Stănculescu, Catinca Tabacaru and Suzana Vasilescu.
