Tensions in rhythm – Visual art and body movement / photo gallery

Curators Alex Radu and Charles Moore sign, after “Wet Snow” in the fall of 2025, a new large group exhibition that reveals contemporary visual art as a binder. This time with movement, dance.

“Rhythmic Stress” includes dozens of works and is hosted by two spaces, the /SAC Berthelot and the Mincu Gallery at the University of Architecture and Urbanism.

The exhibition will be extended with new works from April 23 to 26 at the RAD Art Fair at Hotel Caro. Until then, a discussion with the artists from the exhibition will be organized at Cărturești Modul on 9 April at 6 pm, with special guests Margherita Pevere and Marco Donnarumma.

“Tensions in Rhythm” is an exploration of movement – the movement of bodies, breath, images, language, architecture and power. It is an exhibition conceived at the intersection of dance, performance, contemporary art and spatial practice, where rhythm becomes both a material condition and a political force.

The exhibition at the /SAC Berthelot can be visited until June 27, from Thursday to Saturday between 16:00 and 20:00, while the Mincu Gallery exhibition is open until May 16.
