Gorzo’s Malmaison construction site / photo gallery
Gorzo’s fourth exhibition at /SACbrings together abstract energies and forms, vibrant figures.
The “Construction Site” presents new, specially created works, so it’s a good reason to visit.
Gorzo “plays” here with the paints, amplifies them with his fingers, draws lines that seem invisible, but which in the end outline the figure of the character.
One of the works in the exhibition has a defining message for how curatorial texts are written: ‘The power of the curatorial text is that it says things that are known in a language that is incomprehensible’.
“We want zombies, we want vampires” is the message on another artwork.
Curator Alex Radu says that at Gorzo “the concept of a construction site can become a metaphor for a creation in a state of permanent experimentation”.
The exhibition at /SACMalmaison can be visited until August 1, from Thursday to Saturday from 16:00 to 20:00.
