A premiere at the Museum of Recent Art

MARe/ The Museum of Recent Art in Bucharest presents for the first time its international collection of contemporary art. Entitled “All Our Todays”, it will be open from February 13 to May 25, 2025.

“All Our Todays” comprises more than 60 international works by more than 50 artists from all over the world, brought together from the museum’s contemporary art collection. The curators are Dr. Flavia Frigeri and Ioana Iuna Serban.

MARe is temporarily closed in preparation for this exhibition. Most recently, “The Monster, the Square and the Hohotul” – curated by Dan Popescu and open until January 2025 – could be seen here.
The Museum of Recent Art in Bucharest celebrated its six-year anniversary in the fall, when Ioana Enache, a business veteran, was appointed director of MARe and, together with the board of directors, provides operational leadership to the MARe Foundation.

“What I proposed to change is to come much more towards the community, to go much more towards the educational area. The value of a museum to the community is when it’s full, when people come together to see art. We’re working on an exhibition of quality international art. For some of the artwork we have gone to international museums. But I would like to keep the surprise… The exhibition will be true to the positioning of the Museum of Recent Art,” she stated for curatorial.
