
Love in Amzei – Concrete Love / photo gallery
A new edition of the “Love in Amzei” project, organized by Mobius Gallery and The Institute, features works from the collections of Avi Cicirean and Alexandru Rus.
Under the title “Concrete Love”, the two spaces in Amzei Square display works created between 1970 and 2024 by Romanian and foreign artists.
From the Cicirean collection are exhibited Apparatus 22, Horia Damian, Szilard Gaspar, Ion Grigorescu, Alex Mirutziu, Giuliano Nardin, Radu Pandele, Roman Tolici and Ecaterina Vrana, and from the Rus collection – artists Imre Baász, Dragoș Bădiță, Zoltán Béla, Carmen Calvo, Matei Lăzărescu, László Méhes, Maï, Yehuda Neiman, Nicolae Ovejan, Radu Pandele, Corina Păcurar, Jules Perahim, Gheorghe Rasovszky, Eugen Roșca, Roberto Álvarez Ríos, Ioana Stanca, Sabina Suru, Roman Tolici, Magda (Vitalyos) Ziman.
Their work, collected over 15 years, explores different manifestations of love and different mediums – from photography to painting, from textile art to sculpture.
The exhibition is open until March 1, four days a week, from Wednesday to Saturday, from 16:00 to 20:00.
