Sculpture park
A not-to-be-missed experience this year is the RAD Sculpture Park, set up in the Caro garden on the shores of Lake Tei, on an exhibition area of 5,000 m². It will be complemented by guided tours and educational workshops.
In addition to the opportunity to acquire important works of contemporary art, the event is an opportunity for all art lovers to meet, connect and evolve.
Last year’s RAD Art Fair brought together 26 galleries, more than 90 artists, 300 works of art and over 6,000 visitors. The organizers note that attendance doubled year on year. “The results of the first two editions have confirmed that we are on the right track. Our audience has doubled year on year and sales have tripled from the first to the second edition. What’s more, the public that crossed the threshold of the RAD Art Fair attended conferences, meetings and visits to private collections. In other words, an active, interested public, a public that grows from one year to the next,” explains Matei Câlția, co-founder of RAD Association.
Tickets for RAD Art Fair 2025 will be available from April, when the detailed program will be published.
The Association RAD – Romanian Art Dealers was founded by the most important contemporary art galleries in the country and initiated by co-directors Catinca Tabacaru and Daniela Pălimariu. The project represents a new generation of gallerists, collectors, curators and supporters dedicated to promoting the national contemporary art scene. RAD co-founders are Robert Băjenaru, Matei Câlția, Andrei Jecza, Alexandru Niculescu, Daniela Pălimariu, Mihai Pop, Alex Radu, Andreea Stănculeanu, Catinca Tabacaru, Suzana Vasilescu.
